About Crosby
- Another Place by Antony Gormley consists of 100 cast-iron figures, each a cast of the artist's own body, spread across two miles of Crosby Beach. Installed in 2005, the figures face out to sea at various distances from the shore, partially submerged by the tide. The installation was originally temporary but became permanent after a public campaign to keep it.
