- Pinchinthorpe Hall, a Victorian country house on the edge of the hamlet, is now used as a conference and events venue. The hall is set in extensive grounds that include woodland walks and formal gardens, and is a popular venue for weddings and corporate events in the East Cleveland area.
- Roseberry Topping, the distinctive conical hill that dominates the skyline above Pinchinthorpe, is one of the most recognisable landmarks in the north of England. The hill rises to 320 metres above sea level and offers outstanding views over the Tees Valley, the North Sea, and the North York Moors. The hill is managed by the National Trust and is one of the most popular walking destinations in the area.
- Great Ayton, a few miles to the west, is famous as the village where Captain James Cook spent his childhood.
